Our Fryer Clams are hand shucked in our New Bedford facility using the highest quality live Steamer Clams aka Soft Shell Clams from Massachusetts. These premium whole belly clams offer a delicate, briny sweetness and a tender-yet-satisfying bite, making them a New England classic. Ideal for classic fried clam platters, they crisp up beautifully while retaining their signature juicy, ocean-fresh flavor. 1 portion is 16 oz (1 lb).
Easy Seafood Recipes - One of our favorite ways to prepare fried clams is to use a flour ratio of 1:1 corn starch to Wondra flour. Soak clams in butter milk overnight, dredge in flour, and fry in 350 degree oil for 1-2 minutes (don't over cook them!).
Health Benefits - Whole Belly Clams are rich in Vitamin B12, Iron, Zinc and Omega-3 Fatty Acids. They also contain iodine and selenium, which supports thyroid function.

We are the only ones touching these clams from the flats, all the way to our production facility in New Bedford, MA where they are hand shucked. Steamer clams are in season year round!
